SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES FOR THE SPIRIT INDUSTRY

Abstract

This article discusses several sustainable strategies applicable to the distilled spirit industry. A literature review of the application of life cycle analysis methodology to distilled spirits informed the development of these strategies. Sustainable strategies include primary packaging, water and energy usage, and consumption, in addition to transportation.
