In recent years, technologies have been increasingly being developed to solve problems previously only seen in fiction. Increasingly, the standardization of intelligent systems brings systems capable of self-regulating and making decisions according to different predictions based on mathematical models. Mixed reality, combined with artificial intelligence, has made its way into the manufacturing industry. Therefore, this research shows the development of a vision system controlled by a mixed reality interface that can identify different faults in medical devices. The history of the advances in artificial intelligence and mixed reality is reviewed. Subsequently, the different faults in the medical devices of a leading company are analyzed, and a vision algorithm capable of detecting these faults is created. The algorithm is integrated through a mixed reality application. HoloLens was used in the research to detect the failures presented in the instruments in a mobile vision system.
