Abstract

The need for the production and consumption of more ecologically friendly products has increased enormously in recent years, as society has begun to recognize the havoc that humans leave in their passage through nature. Unfortunately, biodegradable products do not solve the problem due to accumulation of waste. Which is why, even though today there are an infinity of products that warn that they do not cause any harm when discarded, the point is that most of these take many years to degrade. This is where it becomes necessary to generate awareness towards the recovery of materials, where we give the opportunity to extend the life cycle of some products or raw materials that have been dumped previously, and with this avoid supporting the exploitation of natural resources. This project arises from the concern to make furniture products from the use of textile waste, to promote alternative recycling processes, provide an alternative design and different processes to manufacturers through the recovery of materials, carried out through manufactures and artisan processes
