Resumen
This research reports the determination of the factors that influence the creation and implementation of sustainability practices in international manufacturing plants located in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The factors are determined through an exhaustive literary review used by the factories. These elements are segregated by a Confirmatory Factorial Analysis (CFA) by means of structural equations modeling, using AMOS®, v. 22. The findings allowed us to conclude that the deployment of sustainability strategies must be classified into four categories: environmental, economic, social and technological. All classifications include 9 critical success factors that must be managed to ensure that organizations carry out efficiently the sustainability practices.
