Resumen
The objective of this research is to integrate a novel Multicriteria methodology towards the optimization to the New Product Development Process (NPDP). The integration of Pythagorean fuzzy sets, dimensional analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) aims to minimize the uncertainty during the Risk Analysis (RA), and the decision making to assign available resources in the NPDP. This research presents the summary of the application (practical case) of the PFDA-FMEA-VSM method in a real project within a manufacturing company, as well as the comparisons with similar methods, validating the effectiveness of the PFDA-FMEA-VSM method.
