The Thin Line: Critical Reading in Three Phases
Resumen
In both university education and scientific research, reading has never been a merely mechanical act. For me, it has always represented a complex exercise of comprehension, analysis, interpretation, and application. The overabundance of information in the cognitive era and the proliferation of texts generated by artificial intelligence demand new tools that allow us to discern the essential from the superficial, the true from the misleading.
It was for this reason that I designed the CR3P (Critical Reading in Three Phases), a methodological procedure that combines critical thinking, metacognition, and hermeneutics. This method seeks not only to strengthen intellectual rigour, but also to transform the reader, turning each encounter with a text into an opportunity for profound learning.
