The Thin Line: Beyond the Cognitive Mirror

Abstract

When we gaze into a mirror, what we see is not ourselves but a reversed image, a projection. What happens when that mirror no longer reflects faces, but ideas, beliefs and data? What occurs when the mirror is cognitive, returning not what we know but what we imagine we know? This question lingers each time I interact with artificial intelligence. It troubles me, for beneath the technological sheen lies something deeper: our own responsibility.
